I am dead .I died in terror attack that took place on 26/11 at Mumbai. I see people of India all in anger. They want justice they want to end this horror, once and for all. This is the new SPIRIT OF MUMBAI. They wont let it just fizz out, had enough of it. I see people talking harshly, I see rallies organized for me, I see politicians resigning taking up the so called moral responsibility. My family is getting a good sum of money. I am honored with mark of a SHAEED. Online petitions are being sent 3 point agreements, 4 point agreements, duty calls and list goes on. People want 26/11 to be given the status of 9/11, there are demands for war on Pakistan, destroy internal terror support. People at rallies are going on with slogans against politicians. They say no politician has dared to come to these rallies.I am happy there is an awakening; things are different from what it was.
But, on a deeper thought I feel ridiculously irritated. What good the resignation ends on. The shuffling of the powers comes to nothing. India is not that small that a single individual can change its fortune, no matter what power he/she has. Everyone is cursing politicians, and it should be like that. We voted them in with some expectations and they have failed miserably. We should punish these politicians for their failure. These politicians should be liable to lives of each individual. A politician saying he is relived of the burden is that the favor he should get for putting our lives at stake. People getting elected to a powerful post should be severely punished for the offence they cause, so that at least they think before attaining a post of power or not complying. It’s said the bullet proof jackets which we got were defective, and I thought I died fighting for my nation but it dawns that it might just be my faulty equipment. This is really ridiculous to hear. I don’t know the truth but I wish this is not true. Asking Pakistan to co-operate in investigations is a right action but see into yourself. I feel ashamed of these politicians, they have turned out so mean, they are supposed to represent our country and I certainly feel they are not setting the right example. In one of the Pakistani news channel one of their ministers said India has started its own destruction. I certainly don’t agree with every point the Pakistan minister has made in that interview, but has he warned us unknowingly. If I guess it right, when terrorists were planning this heinous act, we at Mumbai were busy tackling the regional issue which our politicians thought would increase their vote bank, carrying out riots, then arresting politicians and again bailing them out, if police is engaged into such useless activities, when they would actually concentrate on much bigger issues of terror. The need of the hour is to melt down the individual differences and come out as a union. And still parties are going all-out on each others wrongs in the past/present making the future really dark. Comparing my death to that of 9/11 attack, it really sinks me low, is it to compare, does India feel par to US by using such phrases. Its not that everything will go right but from where I see it things have not changed they are going horribly wrong. Please awake to better India vote for the best candidate, and I hope the politicians who have messed up don’t escape without any punishment. Roles should be defined for each office of power. Might as well be have rating for them. Have promotional increments on those ratings. This as well might get the right person at right place. It is a thought which I stand by. I hope for a better India but unfortunately conditions now are certainly not any closer to it.
