After climbing up some more rocks and collecting some wood{dry stem} and getting poked by thorns we finally reached the TOP. What a feeling !! We were really over joyed.We could see a pond down the other end of the plateau. It was such an awesome site. After certain sessions of photo-shooting we got down to work :D. collecting more wood, stones. And finally we got our victory fire out laid. We started our tea making session. It was wonderful experience and we were not at all feeling the cold, infact we were feeling the heat. As usual :) i took out my T-shirt and then we made Tea , cuppamania hmm boiling water was never so much fun. As usual sachin giving out the orders :P {office mein koi sunta nai salla yahan toh koi sunega... :D} me n horny picking up the sticks and helping the fire. We had the most delicious maggi ever made , and various versions of tea, milk-tea , strong tea , masala tea , :D and followed by a discussion on which was better :D ..... i loved masala tea :D ....... basically tea in cuppamania CUPS :D. after relaxing fir a while, we thought of moving ahead to explore what was ahead :D .
If we thought we have had all the fun n thrill we could have, we were obviously wrong. This section is not for weak hearted people, If you are afraid of really spooky stuff stop dont read ahead :) it might well turn into a nervous breakdown BE CAUTIONED. :D I know it was a good build up :D. But as a reader it wont feel as much ,as and how we went through. We went ahead the course was smooth, level ground, me and sachin went ahead speaking about ghosts and wild animals. Ganesh and horny were having photo sessions. And while we were all together i twisted my ankle on the level ground. I was in so much pain {and these assholes where :x laughing out the hell out of them :x} Ganesh took pics of me in that position {:x :x :x} but thanks to ganesh i applied his spray and was feeling better, but couldnt walk freely. Taking support of horny and sachin we all went ahead. Then came a dense forest and we had to cross it. We all might not be showing at that point but FATTI PADI THI........ sachin and ganesh pulled out 2 sticks , before we could move forward. And our next step and we heard a noisy sound in the forest ahead. We all were stunned to silence.Suddenly all sorts of weird feelings came to our mind , we all ran for our lives, and we ran like never before :O all stunned {i couldnt walk few minutes ago and i was running now}. We came to our previous spot, where we had halted before. We kept on looking behind as to was anything coming behind us. We decided to sleep at the place , no one wanting to be left behind , we kept the torch on, and gazed at the stars , every small noise around freezed us. Everyone coming up with tips for what should be the line of action if something came out. Stay still, dont move , dont jump down the plateau side .... it was really spooky, and some how real thrill, at this point i dont think anyone was saying why the hell we are here :D. after few tense moments we seeped into the situation , and were much relaxed now. We got into sleep hoping that whatever was behind would come after we were asleep :D {we are not brave enough to stare into death. :)}. We got around one and half hour of sleep and when i opened my eyes we all were ALIVE :D . As soon as i got up i felt the chilling cold. It was 5:30 am. It was shivering the hell out of me. We had a bonfire and baked ourselves in that heat.
The fear had gone with the dark. Now felt normal. After setting fire to the near by bushes :D and making the triumph , we set off to our way out of the plateau , to the
same place where we had our spooky moment, On our way back we found :D horny's DEO :D, and investigated some foot prints :| they were big enough and toe part was quite deep. Certainly not cow or a dog :| , what might it have been.Anyways all's well that ends well :) . We went through the forest, it was a small stretch and then we could see the locals. Then we left from there and reached thane by 10:15am .
It was one of a kind trek, it had everything adventure, joy, fun, thrill, chill, heat, fear, prayer, spooky, pain but it was really happening and well deserved break from normal
routine .Thanks to ganesh for initiating , thanks to horny for the support ,thanks to sachin for the boost up and thanks to me :D for coming alive :D.

Trek to far far away !!....Part 1
Well, i write this blog apparently after about 2 weeks,when we actually went to the trek.After many chain mails,requests and last minute cancellations {as usual} ,we i.e. Sachin, Ganesh, VIkram (horny) and me ,met at kurla station 11:15pm on 7th of feb. 2009 ,to get a lifetime experience which was in store.Horny was dressed up well for d trek only concern being he had too much of luggage :D.It was difficult to stand with that huge bag on his back :D and he was going to trek with that load :D.
So we boarded the 11:45pm train.Damn it was so packed :| . We got to sit at Thane. Train trip was itself quite entertaining :D not sure ganesh was enjoying or not :D. Specially the 3-Tier allegation ;) {sorry ,some things have to be censored ;) }.
We reached our destined location{pssst.....I chose this word with caution not a grammatical error ;)} by 1:45am . It was a bit cold by then. On getting down , the station appeared to be a perfect ramse-brothers horror movie plot. We filled our tummy with IDLI-Chatni , thanks to Horny :D. Then we looked around for some guidance :) as per ganesh the trek site was on right side of station :) {i know in IT industry we are used to such detailed specifics} , we ended up with dialogue from One..Two..Three "Tera right ya mera right" :D. We tried to consult with the station master{a potential ramse-bro lead actor} about the where-abouts of GARBETT-POINT :) yeah that was our supposed destination.The station master was so spooky with a white frail face , long eyes , and perfect ramu kaka look who could be care-taker of a Haweli ....Ghoom naaam hai koiiiiiiii....... :O .
Well after we din't get much of a help from ramu kaka, we went in the RIGHT direction :).As we went out of the station , there were fields around, a typical village background. As we started entering the fields ,sachin came up with , "we should have, had knifes". With that frightful feeling we some how managed to cross down the fields and came on the main road.We could see some workers working at a certain distance we asked them about the GARBETT-POINT. They said we should have got down a station early at Nerul, they said the point was very far from where we were. Never mind again on our way . We came in front of the plateau which we would have to climb over. actually some quarry work was going on around, when we reached there the dogs around were really noisy and we all were still. Then some how we managed to over hear the howling, we trekked our way up. At a point we were too much tired and decided to take a break, drank some water and again on our feet. The soil on the plateau was loose and would slip under our feet, It was pitch dark only torches would help see , and there were thorny bushes around and our aim was to reach the top by 3:30 am. Sachin with the no significant weight on his back was quite swift as usual, he guided us through. On the other hand Horny with his bulk was struggling to pave up . I was with horny sharing a torch and sachin and ganesh sharing the other. We reached a point were we had to rock climb , and the soil was loose underneath. We were literally being dragged down. sachin climbed up and showed the way to ganesh, but he too had a heavy bag and was struggling to climb , we slipped but could rest ourself on the cliff edge, but horny had his worst time coming, he slipped and went on slipping, almost a slip down a rock , n some how i managed to stop his trajectory by holding up his bag. I was really scared by that moment as i myself slipped down holding on horny, some how both of us positioned ourself to be safe. Now we were stuck in the same pose, we couldnt move as we wer on the edge and bulky bags wasnt helping. I was sure this would quite be the end of our trek. In the meantime sachin and ganesh were having a laugh of lifetime :x {assholes :x} Sachin had taken horny's 2 ltr bottle :D ,sachin threw the bottle towards ganesh :D and he missed the catch :D and the 2 ltr bottle went rolling down :D and suddenly ganesh came down almost toppling me over. I moved laterally and sachin bhai showed the way , i tried that part and then some how boosted horny to do the task. slowly but finally we got over that point , and bit of rock climbing did us to next level :D ...... {DAVE level 7 .... sorts :D}
